A press conference was held at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas by Sam Schmidt to discuss the tragic death of Dan Wheldon.

Schmidt, himself a quadriplegic from an IndyCar accident in 2000, told international media how Wheldon's death has impacted the team, the IndyCar community, and all forms of racing. Schmidt is one of the many people behind the Pole Position Raceway brand and all of us at P2R wish the best for him and the Wheldon family during these difficult times.
